Mercedes-Benz SL R129, 03.1989 – 07.2001
The Mercedes-Benz SL R129 was the first Mercedes roadster with an electro-hydraulic convertible soft top and an automated tonneau cover
The car was based on the shortened chassis of the W124 with a modern multi-link rear axle. The engines, here a 300SL, came from the S-class sedans
